While most his age are retired, Don proudly maintains an active Kansas real estate license. When it comes to buying and selling real estate, he offers clients a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Don has thorough real estate experience, previously working as a builder and developer. In the 1980s, Hesston Corporation was in need of low-cost housing for its growing workforce. To meet the housing demand of the growing corporation and community, Don stepped up as a primary partner in developing a mobile home park, apartments, and other family dwellings in Hesston.
As a young man, Don volunteered to serve in the U.S. military. While in Korea, he lived in a tent, and ultimately fulfilled an eight-year obligation to his country. Don earned a business degree from Pittsburg State University and owned an insurance agency, Janzen-Ruth-Typer.
After turning the insurance agency over to another agent, he joined GLC Real Estate Services, Inc. The firm’s excellent reputation, honesty, and commitment to the success of their clients and customers is what drew him to his current role.
